Mobile turnstiles are suitable in cases when check-in cannot be done at stations or platforms, but the operator wants to check people getting on a vehicle nonetheless. In such vehicles, separate doors are usually assigned for getting on and getting off.
- TMT is a compact device occupying as little space as possible.
- The turnstile can be mounted on a pole, optionally with another supporting pole or can be delivered in standalone version.
- The turnstile is controlled by a validator or an onboard computer. When obtaining a signal the bars make a half-turn and are waiting for a passage. If nobody passes the bars return back to an initial position and lock.
- Smooth design without sharp edges is suitable for installation in vehicles.
- The turnstile enables bidirectional operation and can be placed on the right or on the left side as well.
- Coloured light symbols and audio signals indicate free or blocked passage.
- In case of power supply failure or intentionally with a button or via a control device the turnstile can be promptly switched into an emergency mode with fully opened passage.
