The Olomouc Public Transport Company has taken a significant step towards modernizing its urban public transport network. Passengers can now benefit from a new electronic fare collection system supplied by Mikroelektronika.
At the heart of the new solution are our latest CVP6 validators, representing state-of-the-art technology in electronic fare collection. In addition to advanced ticket validation features, these devices also support the printing of paper tickets.
An integral part of the solution is a next-generation back-office system, providing the essential infrastructure for efficient operation and management of the entire fare collection system.
With the implementation of this project, Olomouc now benefits from one of the most technologically advanced fare collection solutions, contributing to the further development of modern, smart, and convenient public transport in the Czech Republic.
